Educator, Consultant, Humanist
I’ve earned a BA, History from Washington State University and hold a Washington State Professional Teaching Certificate. I have a Master’s in Teaching from Grand Canyon University and a Master’s in Science of Education from the University of Kansas. I am still attending Creighton University. I have researched self-determination in learning, effective learning environments, and critical thinking in the classroom among several other concepts related to teaching and learning.
I have taught in Washington State only and have been in the classroom from 2000 to 2013 and 2016 to Present. Patrick has also developed a curriculum called “Thinking Tasks” with nearly 300 critical thinking instructional stems that can be used independently or in most instructional settings (home school, charter, private, or public).
